Werner Attic Ladder Heavy Duty Strut Kit 36-81 (1 Pair)
New replacement heavy duty 130 PSI strut kit for Werner aluminum attic ladders.
Werner 36-81 gas struts should be used if drywall is installed on the bottom of the attic ladder plywood door.
Struts are compressed and strapped by steel bars to 14 inches and expands after installation.
DO NOT remove the steel bars prior to installation. If struts are opened/extended before installation, you will not be able to put it back together. Any opened struts cannot be returned or exchanged.

This kit will NOT fit on Models S2208 and S2210 (Steel Attic Ladders). Werner no longer makes any parts for the S2208 and S2210 ladders. The Steel models have been discontinued and struts are NO longer Available.

Attic Ladder
Latter is built well and easy to install and safely and easily modified, which I had to do due to the fact I didn’t want to widen the floor/ceiling joist, so I removed it from the frame but had to purchase the shocks to complete mounting. I’m very pleased with the product!
