Werner Attic Ladder Standard Strut Kit 36-80 (1 Pair)
New replacement standard gas cylinder 100 PSI strut kit for Werner aluminum attic ladders.
If drywall is attached to the attic ladder plywood door, do NOT use 36-80. Use struts 36-81 since it has a higher PSI rating to lift the heavier door.
Struts are shipped as compressed and strapped by steel bars to 14 inches and expands after installation.
DO NOT remove the steel bars prior to installation. If struts are opened/extended before installation, you will not be able to put it back together. Any opened struts cannot be returned or exchanged.

This kit will NOT fit on Models S2208 and S2210 (Steel Attic Ladders). Werner no longer makes any parts for the S2208 and S2210 ladders. The Steel models have been discontinued and struts are NO longer Available.
